Dr. Shawki Allam, Egypt's Grand Mufti and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, received a high-level delegation from the Evangelical Church on Monday afternoon. The delegation, headed by Pastor Andrea Zaki, President of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, extended greetings to Dr. Allam on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr.

Allam praised the gesture, emphasizing its embodiment of love and friendship values. He stated that such occasions strengthen cohesion among Egyptians and reflect the uniqueness of Egypt’s social fabric.

Meanwhile, Dr. Zaki commended the crucial role played by Dar Al-Ifta in promoting moderation, tolerance, and maintaining societal peace through its influential position and enlightening mission for Egyptians.
